From 4 to 6 October 2023, the 26th Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Transport and Logistics” - TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2023 was held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The exhibition was held as part of the transport week of Kazakhstan, which included business forums, conferences, and an exhibition with the participation of international transport and logistics companies, including the stand of the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” (hereinafter referred to as the Association).
According to the organizers, 225 companies from 17 countries of the world took part in the exhibition, among which national and collective stands of Azerbaijan, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Estonia were presented.
As part of this event, a number of negotiations and business meetings took place with the participation of leaders of the largest transport and logistics companies. In particular, the Association’s stand was visited by a delegation from the Chinese Railways group of companies, headed by Deputy General Director, Mr. Song Xiude. During this meeting, representatives of the Association discussed with the Chinese delegation the potential for further strengthening cooperation and the possibility of attracting Chinese cargo traffic to TITR.
In addition, in parallel with the exhibition, the VI International Transport and Logistics Business Forum New Silk Way and the conferences “Warehouse Logistics Market in Kazakhstan”, “Development of Ports, Terminals and Shipping in the Caspian Sea” and “Transport and Logistics Market” were held. The guest speaker at these events was the General Secretary of the TITR Association, Gaidar Abdikerimov, who presented the current infrastructure capabilities of the TITR, and also encouraged event participants to cooperate and integrate transport systems through the development of the Middle Corridor route.
