| News

The international exhibition TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026 was held in Astana from 14 to 16 October 2026. The International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” (TITR Association) participated in the exhibition, presenting the capabilities and development prospects of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR, Middle Corridor).

During the exhibition, the TITR Association’s booth was visited by Zhanibek Taizhanov, Vice Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The visit took place during the official opening of the exhibition and a tour of the exhibition area by the delegation. Visitors to the booth were provided with information about the route, its transit potential, opportunities for organising multimodal transportation, and the Association’s key activities aimed at developing the international transport corridor.

In addition to its participation in the exhibition, representatives of the TITR Association took part in the business programme of the New Silk Way International Transport and Logistics Business Forum, held as part of Kazakhstan Transport Week.

One of the forum’s key events was the strategic session entitled “The Digital Silk Road: Artificial Intelligence and End-to-End Logistics Technologies”. Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov delivered the opening remarks at the session. Participants discussed the introduction of artificial intelligence and digital solutions in the transport and logistics sector, as well as opportunities to apply advanced technologies to improve transportation efficiency and develop international transport corridors.

The forum also featured a World Bank panel session presenting its flagship report, “Integration: World-Class Trade Logistics along the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor”.

The report outlines findings and recommendations for further developing the TITR, improving logistics efficiency, and strengthening transport connectivity across the region. The session addressed prospects for infrastructure improvements, more predictable transportation services, enhanced regional cooperation, and greater private sector participation.

The TITR Association’s participation in TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026 and the New Silk Way Business Forum provided a valuable platform for professional dialogue with representatives of government authorities, international organisations, and the transport and logistics industry.
