From 24 to 26 June 2026, the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” (TITR Association) participated in transport logistic Shanghai 2026, one of Asia’s largest international trade exhibitions for the transport and logistics industry, held in Shanghai, PRC.
During the exhibition, the TITR Association’s stand was visited by Mr. Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of CJSC “Azerbaijan Railways” and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the ALE “International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route”. During the visit, the parties discussed the further development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor), strengthening cooperation among the route participants, and expanding international collaboration.
Throughout the exhibition, representatives of the TITR Association held a series of bilateral (B2B) meetings with representatives of the logistics platforms of Yiwu, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Xi’an, and Jiangsu Province. The discussions focused on the current developments along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, prospects for expanding cooperation, increasing cargo volumes, and promoting wider use of the route for international freight transportation between China, the Caucasus, and Europe.
The Association also held B2B negotiations with the management of Beijing trans Eurasia international logistic Co., Ltd. The parties discussed the resumption of China–Europe container block train services and the launch of feeder shipping services in the Black Sea. They exchanged views on the prospects for implementing the project and its significance for improving the efficiency of multimodal transportation along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
In addition, meetings were held with the heads of the land transport commission of the China international freight forwarders Association and the China-Europe railway express international coordination center under the China communications and transportation Association. During the discussions, the parties agreed on the importance of continuing joint efforts to further promote and increase the visibility of the TITR route across the Eurasian transport market, including through joint consultations and marketing activities.
Throughout the three-day exhibition, visitors to the TITR Association’s stand were introduced to the competitive advantages of the route, its transit potential, and the transportation solutions available along the corridor. Visitors also received promotional and informational materials and were provided with consultations on transportation services and opportunities for cooperation within the framework of TITR.
