Representatives of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency visited the TITR office in Astana
On December 22, 2023, a delegation of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) visited the office of the TITR Association in Astana.
According to JICA representatives, their research group was sent to Kazakhstan to study the current situation, challenges and needs for strengthening the logistics functions of TITR in Central Asia and the Caucasus region within the framework of cooperation with JICA, including on customs issues. The purpose of the delegation's visit is also to collect information necessary for a specific study of the technical and economic feasibility and development impact, as well as other details of the expected cooperation project between JICA and TITR.
For his part, the Secretary General of the TITR Association, Gaidar Abdikerimov, introduced JICA representatives to the current activities of the TITR Association, the current capabilities of the TITR route, as well as long-term plans for the route.
