December 6, 2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan, the General Meeting of the members of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" (TITR) was held.
During the meeting, issues of further development of container traffic on the Middle Corridor, launching a regular container train in 2018 were discussed. Also work at tariff rates for 2018 was continued with an aim of increasing competitiveness of the route.
Mr. Veysi Kurt, Chairman of the Board, General Director of JSC "TCDD" Transportation (Turkish Railways), who also participated the meeting, announced the prospects of mutual cooperation with the International Association "TITR" and its members. Within the framework of the meeting, the multimodal operator – JSC "KTZ Express", signed an agreement on the services of rail transportation on the territory of Turkey.
By the decision of the General Meeting, with reference of change of management of JSC "Georgian Railway" and LLC "Batumi Sea Port", a new composition of Management Board of the Association was approved.
