June 4-7, 2019 in Munich (Germany), the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" (TITR Association) took part in the largest European transport and logistics exhibition – Transport Logistic 2019.
The Transport Logistic exhibition is held biennially and concenter on its platform the largest transport companies and leading industry experts. According to the organizers, this year 2,374 exhibitors from 63 countries took part in the exhibition, while the number of visitors amounted to about 64,000 people from 125 countries.
On the first day of the exhibition, Deputy Chairman of the Managing Board of TITR Association, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, Javid Gurbanov visited the stand of TITR Association.
In the framework of the exhibition, a series of negotiations and business meetings aimed at the long-term development of Middle Corridor took place, in particular, with the participation of representatives of regular and associate members of the TITR Association from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania and Ukraine. During the exhibition, a meeting was held between the delegates of the TITR Association and the Vice-President on Infrastructure of the Port Gdansk, Marcin Osowski, with the participation of PKP LHS representatives headed by Board Member of PKP LHS, Dariusz Sikora. Also, the business meetings with international companies such as COSCO SHIPPING (Europe), Rail Cargo, HHLA, DP World, CMA CGM Group, Ekol logistics, Plaske and many others were held. In addition, on the Middle Corridor booth, negotiations were held between KTZ Express JSC and MTLK (Ukraine) representatives. In order to implement a tracking system platform for wagons and containers on the Middle Corridor route, representatives of the TITR Association held talks with the General Director of STM, Ognyan Andreev and Chairman of DBA Group SpA, Francesco De Bettin.
On June 6, 2018, at the TITR Association booth, the Memorandum of Partnership was signed between NMSC Kazmortransflot LLP and Grampet S.A. The document was signed by the General Director of NMSC Kazmortransflot LLP, Marat Ormanov and Transport Division Vice President of Grampet S.A., Sorin Chinde. The signing ceremony was also attended by the Managing Director for Oil Transportation of NC KazMunayGaz JSC, Nurtas Shmanov, Secretary General of TITR Association, Rakhmetolla Kudaibergenov and Commerce Manager of NC Aktau Sea Commercial Port JSC, Martin Voetmann.
In addition, within the framework of the business program of the exhibition, the conference on the theme "China - Europe - Blocktrain - Bringing The Silk Road Alive" was organized and held by China Communication and Transportation Association. The Deputy Secretary General of the TITR Association, Leila Batyrbekova, acted as a speaker at this conference. Doctoral Supervisor, Professor of Beijing Jiaotong University, Shouwen Ji, Secretary General of Coordinating Council on Trans-Siberian Transportation (CCTT), Gennady Bessonov, Chairman of Land Bridge Freight Committee of CCTA, Minjie Guo, and others also gave a speech at the conference.
