On October 15, 2024, a conference titled "Port of Constanța - The European Hub of the Middle Corridor" was held in Astana, Kazakhstan, with the participation of representatives from the Port of Constanța, the Business Association of the Port of Constanța, the DP World Container Terminal at the Port of Constanța, and many others.

The main goal of this event is to develop a transport corridor connecting the ports of the Caspian and Black Seas, as well as to increase the existing freight flows along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

The Port of Constanța is equipped with modern terminals and is the largest port for container handling on the Black Sea. The port is becoming a key hub for the implementation of TITR initiatives, which contributes to strengthening transport and logistics ties among the TITR member countries.
