From November 7 to 8, 2024, the 23rd Ministerial Conference of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) was held in Astana, with the participation of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" (TITR Association).

The event was attended by high-ranking delegates from the countries involved in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) program, representatives of international organizations, and development partners, highlighting the significance of the conference as a platform for discussing the transition to clean energy, implementing innovative climate solutions, and ensuring the sustainable development of transport corridors.

Particular attention was given to the CAREC Corridor 2 project, aimed at strengthening the region's transport resilience and stimulating its economic growth. The discussions included representatives from the ministries of economy and transport of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

At the event, the Secretary General of the TITR Association delivered a speech, highlighting the advantages of the TITR corridor.

In addition, climate change issues took center stage during a session dedicated to innovative solutions for addressing environmental challenges. The potential use of artificial intelligence to optimize resources and management across various sectors was also explored.

The event concluded with the signing of several agreements aimed at strengthening regional cooperation, followed by a series of bilateral meetings.
