The meeting was attended by companies - members of TITR. In addition, a videoconference was organized for the Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Kamaliyev, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan R. Gummatov, Deputy Head of the Department of Transport and Logistics Development Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia R. Devadze.
At the meeting, issues were discussed and certain agreements were reached on the volume (forecast) of cargo transportation and tariff conditions for the transportation of goods along the TITR route for 2022, regular sailing of feeder ships between the ports of Aktau and Hovsan (Baku) for the transportation of containers, and also considered topical issues and agreed on measures to ensure uninterrupted transportation along the TITR route.
In addition, in order to implement the agreements reached between the leaders of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku on March 9, 2022, the involved members of TITR from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia discussed further steps to create a single transport operator on the TITR route.
