On November 27, 2023, by the initiative of the Chinese side, a business meeting was held between the delegation of the State Railway Administration of PRC, headed by the Director of the General Department Mr. Tian Jun and representatives of the Executive Body of the TITR Association.

The purpose of the visit of the Chinese delegation was a detailed study of the possibilities of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, including the issues of tariff conditions along the route, conditions and volumes of traffic, throughput capacity, current state and prospects for the development of the infrastructure of the TITR route, as well as an exchange of views on issues of promoting the further development of the route.

Deputy Secretary General of the Association TITR Saut Shynybaev briefed the delegation from China on the activities of the TITR Association, including the work carried out within TITR to increase the capacity of the route, improve transportation efficiency and attract additional volumes of cargo transportation on TITR route, including Chinese transit container flows, also he answered all questions of interest from the Chinese side.

Following the meeting, in order to further deepen cooperation, the parties agreed to actively interact on issues of promoting the increase in traffic along the TITR route and the development of the route as a whole.
