On May 18-19, 2023, the second economic forum "European Union - Central Asia" was held in Almaty (Kazakhstan), where the Secretary General of the Association of Legal Entities "International Association" Trans-Caspian International Transport Route "( the Association) took part.
The main goal of the forum was to promote interaction between the EU and CA countries in three key priority areas, such as green and digital transition, improving the business environment, as well as trade and connectivity.
During the forum, invited experts discussed connectivity, transport and logistics issues, including the possibilities of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. Secretary General of the Association, Gaidar Abdikarimov, acted as an expert at this event, answering questions such as the increased role of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route in ensuring transit flows between Europe, Central Asia and China, current infrastructure projects of the route, as well as digitalization of customs and trade processes on the route.
