On 9 August 2024, the Ist Business Forum “C5+Japan” was held in Astana (Kazakhstan), where representatives of five Central Asian countries and more than 100 Japanese companies discussed the prospects of cooperation in technology and innovation fields.

Within the forum the Secretary General of the International Association ‘TITR’ (hereafter Association TITR), Mr Gaidar Abdikerimov, took part as a speaker. During the speech, Mr. Abdikerimov introduced to forum participants with the activities of the Association TITR, current opportunities of the route and future plans for the development of the route. The speech highlighted the importance of the route for the development of trade relations and transport logistics in the region.

Moreover, current issues on implementation of artificial intelligence technologies and cyber security were also covered at the forum, thus becoming an important step in strengthening the partnership between Central Asia and Japan. Signed agreements paved the way for a new level of cooperation, contributing to mainstreaming innovative solutions into the regional economy.

Business forum as part of the Dialogue ‘Central Asia + Japan’ resulted with signing of documents on the implementation of joint projects in order to bring the multilateral partnership to a new level.
