On April 23-24, 2026, meetings of the Working Group, the Management Board, and the General Meeting of the Association of Legal Entities “International Association ‘Trans-Caspian International Transport Route’” (the Association) were held in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan).
During the meetings, participants were presented with the Association’s activity report for 2025, which confirmed a steady positive development trend of the route. Transportation plans for 2026 and measures for their implementation were also discussed. Special attention was given to improving the efficiency of the transportation process and enhancing cooperation among route participants.
Following the meetings, a number of documents aimed at further development of the route were signed, including an agreement regulating the organization of container services between ports and terminals of the Caspian Sea, as well as a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of digitalization of multimodal transportation, aimed at further development and implementation of digital solutions along the route.
Participants of the meetings noted the growing role of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route in shaping efficient transport and logistics links between the countries of Asia and Europe.
