The TITR Association took part in the “Third Expert Seminar of Shippers and Operators of the China–Europe Railway Express,” which was held on 16 January 2026 in the city of Shenzhen (PRC). The event was organized by the Chinese transport and logistics corporation Neptune Logistics Group.

The seminar was dedicated to the topic “Prospects for the Development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route in the Context of the Transformation of Global Supply Chains.” Representatives of ministries, research institutes, railway companies, freight train logistics platforms, and shippers from China, as well as transport and logistics companies from Kazakhstan, Austria, and Azerbaijan, took part in the seminar.

On behalf of the TITR Association, the speaker was Deputy Secretary General Saut Shynybayev. During his speech, he presented information on the activities of the Association and outlined the key directions for the development of the TITR route.

The participants of the seminar exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of the China–Europe railway express transport network and the Trans-Caspian corridor. At the conclusion, a roundtable discussion was held, within the framework of which emphasis was placed on the need to ensure stability and predictability of cross-border railway transportation amid changing global supply chains. Issues of route complementarity, digitalization of processes, improving the efficiency of transport organization, and coordination among market participants were discussed.

Within the framework of the event, Saut Shynybayev also held a number of business meetings with Chinese logistics platforms and shippers, during which transportation plans along the TITR route for the current year and the proposed measures for their implementation were discussed.
