December 9-10, 2019 in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan), the sessions of the Working group of the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” were held.
During the sessions, members of TITR Association tentatively agreed on the level of tariff rates for 2020 for wagon load along the TITR for such cargoes as coal, sulfur, LPG, grain, oilseeds and legumes, non-ferrous and ferrous metals, oil products, etc. In addition, the Working group participants agreed on the tariff rates, as well as the cargo delivery time for container service on the TITR for 2020, including particular sections between the ports of Georgia and Romania on the Black Sea.
With the reference to the increase of container traffic along the TITR, the session participants considered the issue of launching the additional feeder vessel between the ports of Baku and Aktau from the second decade of December 2020. The members of the Working group on launching regular feeder line at the Black Sea between the ports of Batumi/Poti (Georgia) – Constanta (Romania) i.e. companies Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC, ACSC Logistic LLC, GR Logistics and Terminals LLC and Grampet SA agreed on the tariff rates and cargo delivery time along the route Altynkol – Constanta – Altynkol.
December 9, 2019, in the framework of the field sessions of the Working group, representatives of the TITR Association, Lianyungang Port Holdings Group (China) and Grampet Group (Romania) also discussed the development of container line in the direction China – Romania/Southeast Europe – China along the Middle Corridor in 2020.
