"Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and seaports terminals of Kazakhstan" round table was held on May 24, 2017 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). The event was organized by representatives of logistics block of "Kazakhstan Railways" National Company and JSC NC "Aktau International Sea Commercial Port".
Participants of railway administrations, leading transport and logistics companies, diplomatic missions and business communities of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, China, as well as a number of other countries attended the Round table.
Representatives of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route"(TITR) presented the opportunities of TITR as an alternative route of delivering Uzbekistani cargoes, through Caspian seaports of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, to the countries of the Black Sea basin and Europe, with further expanding geography and increasing cargo flows along this route.
The participants of the round table were acquainted with the prospects of development of transportation along TITR and highly appreciated it. In addition, they expressed their willingness to join the route and become direct participant of transport and logistics services provided by the founding members of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route".
